Even if we dentists do not intervene in life-critical situations and therefore carry out a health activity in some ways "not of primary importance", we must nevertheless confront ourselves with the considerable complexity of the profession we exercise. For this reason I consider it essential that every dentist can specialize in one or a few specific branches of our profession, trying to organize themselves into a team in order to be able to offer patients the maximum expression in terms of quality and professionalism.

Except for very rare exceptions (Leonardo Da Vinci comes to mind), we must understand that it is not possible to do everything by expressing the highest quality in every discipline!During my professional life I have therefore focused my concentration and my training in Prosthetic and Implant Prosthetic Rehabilitation and in Aesthetic Dentistry.I soon realized that these disciplines could not be adequately exercised without a solid post-graduate preparation in Periodontology (a discipline that teaches us to preserve or restore the health of the hard and soft tissues that support teeth and implants) : so I then focused on it to be able to execute the previously mentioned ones to the best of my ability.

One other discipline that is often indispensable for the correct execution of prosthetic, implant and aesthetic therapies is orthodontics.

In the dental profession this discipline is the closest thing to magic: being able to move teeth and their bone and gingival tissues is an enormous advantage and allows reducing the invasiveness of the treatments and improving the results.

Obviously I will not be the one to carry out orthodontic treatments if you become a patient of mine: i’m already almost an all-doing and to practice orthodontics correctly I would need another life!

Fortunately, there are two good professionals in my team: Dr. Laura Ronchi and Dr. Nataliia Greco, both specialists in Orthodontics.
